I've always loved a good mystery. Even as a young girl, my mother and I would scour the shelves of dusty used bookstores for old Gothic romances. The kind of romance that the male protagonist was a brooding, reluctant owner of an old mansion, in a far-off land, perched on the side of a cliff overlooking the churning sea. The female protagonist was typically young and naïve and somehow a threat to those who lurked in the shadows, endeavoring to keep their secrets safe.
Telling stories has been a lifelong passion, and after many of life's twists and turns, I am back to writing mysteries with a dose of romance.
